Morgan was featured in a short film that was about AIDS awareness and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. Morgan donated a portion of her income for the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a part-time member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has spearheaded numerous other fund-raising projects for the disease and also appeared in front of a specific Congressional panel on AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to substitute for him at AIDS events and she has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for one of the Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime along with Joan Rivers. Summer began by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner, also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next project brought Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan also starred as the main character in a thriller about psychological issues that was produced exclusively through the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings recorded in network history.
