Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. She has previously recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to play music only for pleasure or for the sake of growth but rather, she should pursue it. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. Her sources include noted writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. When her mother told her that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, but also make others see their importance in the world and realize how they can benefit from the songs She decided to start performing publicly. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public so that people can see their importance and the ways they can affect the world. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora was not a goal. The singer says that she simply likes to compose music. She believes that music is the most effective method of feeling anything.
