Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. She has previously recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father.
